Manage Microsoft 365 Copilot Conversation

If you don't set up the Permit web search in Copilot policy, internet search is available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and portal copilot studio Conversation, unless you set the Enable the usage of extra optional connected experiences in Workplace policy to Disabled.
