Manage Microsoft 365 Copilot Conversation

If you do not set up the Allow web search in copilot finance app cost plan, web search is readily available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you set the Enable the use of extra optional linked experiences in Office policy to Impaired.

Copilot Conversation is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Expectation for the majority of individuals that are eligible for Copilot Conversation throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

Admins can also alter the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for individuals in Microsoft Teams through the Teams admin facility: Designate an app setup policy with Copilot Chat in the pinned applications to users with an Entra account.

The Permit internet search in Copilot policy also allows you to handle internet search for customers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
