If you don't configure the Allow internet search in Copilot policy, internet search is available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you establish the Permit the usage of added optional connected experiences in Office plan to Impaired.

Copilot Conversation is now pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 copilot portal alternative application, Teams, and Outlook for many customers who are eligible for Copilot Conversation across the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly chose 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigating bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin center and also untreated the 'Enable individuals to be asked whether they want to pin it' option, your setting configuration is 'Do not pin' and your customers still will not have Copilot pinned in their navigating bar.
