If you don't configure the Enable web search in Copilot plan, web search is available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and copilot client portal app Chat, unless you set the Permit the use of additional optional linked experiences in Office plan to Handicapped.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Teams, and Expectation for many customers who are qualified for Copilot Chat across the internet, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also alter the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for individuals in Microsoft Teams via the Groups admin facility: Designate an application configuration plan with Copilot Chat in the pinned applications to individuals with an Entra account.

To assist boost the high quality of feedbacks, Copilot Conversation can utilize web search questions sent out to the Bing search solution to ground feedbacks in the current information from the internet.
