If you don't configure the Enable internet search in Copilot Studio portal Login plan, web search is offered to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Allow the usage of extra optional connected experiences in Workplace policy to Impaired.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Teams, and Outlook for most customers that are qualified for Copilot Chat throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

Admins can also transform the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for customers in Microsoft Teams through the Groups admin center: Designate an application setup plan with Copilot Conversation in the pinned apps to individuals with an Entra account.
