If you do not configure the Enable web search in Copilot policy, internet search is readily available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and copilot client portal login Conversation, unless you set the Allow the use of added optional linked experiences in Workplace policy to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Teams, and Expectation for many users that are eligible for Copilot Conversation across the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you previously chose 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and also uncontrolled the 'Enable individuals to be asked whether they want to pin it' option, your setting setup is 'Do not pin' and your users still won't have actually Copilot pinned in their navigation bar.
