If you don't configure the Permit internet search in Copilot policy, web search is readily available to individuals by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Allow the use of extra optional linked experiences in Office plan to Disabled.

Copilot Conversation is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Outlook for most users that are qualified for Copilot Conversation across the internet, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also change the pinning settings of Copilot Conversation for customers in Microsoft Teams with the Teams admin center: Appoint an app configuration plan with Copilot Conversation in the pinned apps to customers with an Entra account.
