If you don't set up the Enable internet search in Copilot Client Portal Pricing plan, web search is available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Allow the usage of extra optional connected experiences in Office plan to Handicapped.

Copilot Conversation is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Expectation for many users who are eligible for Copilot Chat throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you previously chose 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and additionally untreated the 'Enable individuals to be asked whether they wish to pin it' alternative, your setting setup is 'Do not pin' and your customers still won't have Copilot pinned in their navigation bar.

The Allow web search in Copilot policy also enables you to manage internet search for users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
