If you do not set up the Permit internet search in Copilot policy, web search is available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Allow the usage of extra optional linked experiences in Office policy to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Groups, and Outlook for a lot of customers who are eligible for Copilot Conversation throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also change the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for individuals in Microsoft Teams through the Groups admin center: Appoint an app arrangement policy with copilot client portal pricing Conversation in the pinned applications to users with an Entra account.

To help improve the high quality of responses, Copilot Chat can utilize web search inquiries sent to the Bing search service to ground reactions in the most recent details from the internet. Copilot includes a CRM, notification center, powerful authorization controls, and essential applications for messaging, invoicing, file-sharing, contracts, and types.
